Orangetown Town Council

Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across New York State hosting regional convenings that bring together healthcare leaders, policymakers, and community advocates. From the Hudson Valley to Western New York, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges and the hope that unite us. Across every region, two priorities rise to the top — housing and food. These are not partisan issues. They are people issues.

My travels have affirmed something powerful: the solution is not found in being “red” or “blue,” but in being purple — where collaboration, compassion, and common sense meet. It’s about sectors coming together, having courageous conversations, and finding shared solutions that help families thrive.

That’s why I’m running for Orangetown Town Board. I believe Orangetown can continue to be the strong, vibrant community we love — where legacy families can afford to stay, and new families can afford to start. Where responsible growth, transparent leadership, and balanced decision-making guide our future.

Even as I’ve led statewide initiatives, I’ve remained deeply committed to our local community and to my most important role — being a present mom, neighbor, and advocate. Whether it’s serving through faith, volunteering in our schools, or simply being part of the everyday life of this town, my heart remains right here in Orangetown.

Now more than ever, we need leaders who listen, build bridges, and lead with integrity. I’m ready to bring that vision — the purple perspective — to Orangetown.

Meet Tiffany Sturdivant-Morrison

A lifelong advocate for community progress, Tiffany Michelle Sturdivant brings over 15 years of experience in public health, strategic planning, and community engagement to her candidacy for Orangetown Town Council. Her roots in Orangetown run deep—her family has called this town home since the 1950s, making Tiffany part of a proud three-generation legacy committed to service, integrity, and growth.

Tiffany has built a career focused on strengthening systems and communities. Most recently, she led nine regional initiatives across New York State, uniting healthcare executives, community organizations, and government leaders to develop population health strategies and a statewide roadmap that will impact millions. Her leadership spans multi-million-dollar budgets, complex partnerships, and programs that deliver measurable results.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tiffany is an ordained minister, assistant pastor, mother, and community leader who serves on local nonprofit boards and volunteers with organizations that uplift families. She knows that strong communities are built on transparency, inclusion, and collaboration.

Tiffany believes Orangetown deserves bold, inclusive leadership—leadership that protects our environment, ensures transparency, embraces diverse voices, and creates affordable housing so families can thrive for generations to come.

It’s time for people and progress first. Tiffany is ready to bring fresh ideas, integrity, and action to the Town Board.

Areas of Focus

As a mother, minister, and experienced public health leader I’m committed to:

  • Environment & Sustainable Development: Prioritizing growth while preserving the unique character and environmental integrity of Orangetown.

  • Transparent Governance: Residents are calling for more visibility into decision-making, and for genuine inclusion—not just performative feedback.

  • Diversified Leadership: Many feel that repeating the same leadership cycle stifles progress. It’s time for new voices, ideas, and representation that reflect the evolving needs of our town.

  • Legacy & Affordable Housing: Orangetown must be a place where families can stay and grow. We need strategies that promote affordability, economic development, and thoughtful fiscal planning to secure a sustainable future.

It’s time for bold, inclusive leadership that puts people and progress first.
